FAQ
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions – you are also welcome to contact us by telephone during our opening hours or by e-mail at any time.
Everything about your treatment
How can I make an appointment for a treatment?
For longer packages, special requests regarding certain massage combinations, booking our VIP room or desired therapist, please call us on 01 317 65 64 or send us an email to office@shofah.at. You are also welcome to use our online booking tool.
I would like to make an appointment on a certain day, but there are no more places available
If this is the case, please contact us so that we can either put you on our waiting list or work together to find a suitable alternative appointment for you.
Do I have to have an appointment for treatment?
“Walk in” appointments, i.e. spontaneous appointments for “random guests” without prior arrangement are unfortunately rather rarely available. Therefore, we generally recommend that our clients make an appointment by phone, email or online – even for the same day.
I have to cancel my appointment or would like to postpone it
If you are forced to cancel or postpone your appointment, we can understand this. However, we ask for your understanding that we book the appointments and the therapists exclusively for you. Therefore, we ask you to inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot keep your appointment. In case of cancellation on the same day or “no-show” we have to charge you for the booked treatments in full (except of course in justified, unforeseeable emergencies).
I can't make it to my appointment on time
If you arrive late for your agreed appointment, we ask for your understanding that we may have to deduct this duration from your massage time – also in the interest of the following clients. Therefore, please come to your appointment on time. If you should be late, we will of course still endeavour to provide you with the best possible treatment. However, as we cannot change subsequent reservations, we ask for your understanding that even if the duration of the massage is changed or shortened due to the delay, the booked treatment must still be paid for at the full price.
When should I arrive at Shofah Spa for my treatment?
Please arrive at the spa at least 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment. This will give you enough time to start your treatment completely relaxed and to fully enjoy your booked treatment time.
I have never been to a spa before. What should I expect and do I need to bring anything with me?
Take it easy – everything you need for your stay at Shofah Spa, such as towels, bathrobe, bath cosmetics, slippers etc. is ready for you and included in the price. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment, our reception will welcome you as you enter and will be happy to explain the rest of the process. You can choose a massage oil at your leisure and relax during the traditional Thai foot washing. Please leave your mobile phone switched off – this will help you to enjoy your time out even more. As our massage/treatment times correspond to the pure massage/treatment time, we ask you to plan at least 30-40 minutes extra for your visit, as you can relax after your treatment with fresh fruit, exotic juices and aromatic teas in our exclusive relaxation zone, in summer also in our spa garden.
I am pregnant. Can I still come to you?
Congratulations! Of course you can. Our pregnancy massage has been specially designed for expectant mothers. You can lie comfortably on your stomach on our pregnancy massage bed up to the 9th month. Please always inform us about your pregnancy so that we can take this into account when booking and point it out to our therapists.
Is there a minimum age for the treatments?
No, we are happy to massage children of all ages. For our youngest guests, we recommend the treatment together with mum or dad in the same room. Children under 12 receive a discount of 10€ per treatment.
How can I buy a voucher?

How long is my voucher valid?

Can I also tip my therapist when paying by card?
Yes, you can. Simply let us know the amount you would like to tip when you pay for your massage. You will then receive this amount from us in cash and can either give the tip to your therapist personally or deposit it in the respective tip box.
